1.1 CD ROM Cosmic-Ray Neutron Data in 1953-2014

This CD-R includes cosmic ray neutron fluxes (pressure-corrected and scale-adjusted) taken by the global network of neutron monitors since 1953.
The database includes numerical values (1 hour account) and graphs of average monthly values.

The CD-R was published by WDC for Cosmic Rays, Solar-Terrestrial Environment Laboratory, Nagoya University.
Since some datasets obtained over the past few years are preliminary, it is recommended that you visit webpage to get the latest datasets.

1.2 CD ROM COSRAY-2000 up-to-date on 28 October 2000

On this CD ROM hourly data from the World wide neutron monitor network (about 130 stations) are presented for the whole history of observations from 1953 to the mid of 2000.
CD is created in WDC for STP, Moscow and IZMIRAN.
Data Bank was prepared by Kh. Dalgatova (WDC for STP); A. Belov, R. Gushchina, E. Eroshenko, V. Yanke (IZMIRAN).

4-17 Cosmic ray intensity in interplanetary (by Soviet space probe observations) during periods:

4. July 19, 1965 - January 25, 1966 (M., 1974)
   Tables of cosmic ray intensity in interplanetary space. The tables show the count rates (pulses per second) of low-energy cosmic-ray detectors,    installed on the space probes "Zond-3", "Venera-2" and "Venera-3". Cosmic ray intensity was recorded: on the "Zond-3" from 07/19/65 to 01/21/66;    "Venera-2" from 11/14/65 to 01/25/66, and "Venera-3" from 11/16/65 to 10/12/65.

5. June 12 - October 18, 1967 (M., 1974)
   This issue includes cosmic ray intensity tables in interplanetary space. The tables show the count rates (pulses per second) of low-energy cosmic-ray detectors,    installed on the space probe "Venera-4".

   Tables of cosmic ray intensity in interplanetary space. The presented data were received during the flight of the space probe "Mars-2" from Earth to Mars. Data obtained from the orbit of Mars,    published in the journal "Space Research" T.XII, No. 2, pp. 252-263. The tables show the count rates (pulses per second) of cosmic ray detectors of various energies,    installed on the space probe "Mars-2".

9. November 19, 1971 - June 1, 1972 (M., 1978)
   Tables of cosmic ray intensity in interplanetary space. The tables show the count rates (pulses per second) of cosmic ray detectors of various energies installed on the space probe "Mars-2".

10. March 27 - July 22, 1972 (M., 1975)
   Tables of cosmic ray intensity in interplanetary space. The tables show the count rates (pulses per second) of low-energy cosmic-ray detectors,    installed on the space probe "Venera-8".

11. November 10, 1970 - April 20, 1973 (M., 1975)
   Tables of cosmic ray intensity measured on the Earth-Moon flight section, in the region of the Moon’s orbit and on the Moon. The tables show the count rates (pulses per second) of low-energy cosmic-ray detectors,    installed on the space probe "Lunokhod-1", "Luna-19" and "Lunokhod-2". Cosmic ray intensity was recorded: on the "Lunokhod-1" from 02/10/70 to 09/14/71,    on the "Luna-19" from 07/28/71 to 08/23/72 and on the "Lunokhod-2" from 02/14/73 to 04/20/73.

12. July 22, 1973 - March 24, 1974 (M., 1978)
   Tables of cosmic ray intensity in interplanetary space. The presented data were received during the flight of the space probes "Mars-4, 5, 7" from Earth to Mars. The tables show the count rate (pulses per second) of    cosmic ray detectors of various energies installed on the "Mars-4, 5, 7". Registration was made from 08/17/73 to 03/24/74/.

13. May 29, 1974 - August 26, 1975 (M., 1982)
    The tables include the results of detection of cosmic rays. The tables show the count rates (pulses per second) of low-energy cosmic-ray detectors installed on the space probe "Luna-22".

14. June 9 - November 1, 1975, January 8 - April 1, 1976 (M., 1978)
    Tables of cosmic ray intensity in interplanetary space. The data were obtained during the flight of the space probes "Venera-9" and "Venera-10" from the Earth to Venus and during the existence of the artificial satellite of Venus "Venera-10". The tables show the count rates (pulses per second) of cosmic ray detectors of various energies installed on the space probes. Cosmic ray particle intensities are given for the "Venera-9" from 06/09/75 to 11/01/75;    from 08/19/75 to 08/26/75 and from 01/08/76 to 04/01/76 for "Venera-10."

15. September 11, 1978 - November 15, 1979 (M., 1990)
    Tables of cosmic ray intensity in interplanetary space. Count rates (pulses per second) of low-energy cosmic-ray detectors installed on the space probe "Venera-11" are given.

16. June 2, 1983 - April 29, 1985 (M., 1989)
    In this issue, in the form of intensity graphs, the results of registration of cosmic rays in interplanetary space are presented. The graphs show the measurement data obtained using cosmic ray detectors installed onboard the space probes "Venera-15" and "Venera-16".

17. December 28, 1984 - January 1, 1987 (M., 1989)
    This issue provides graphs of the count rate (pulses per second) of cosmic ray detectors in interplanetary space. The presented data were obtained during the space probe flight from Earth to Halley's comet and beyond. Count rate graphs for the space probe "Vega-2" from 12/28/84 to 08/27/86 and for the "Vega-1" from 08/27/86 to 01/01/87 are shown.


18-20 Hourly average count rates of charged particles detectors in interplanetary space in periods:

18. April 14 - June 12, 1972 (Issue 1, M., 1979)
    This data catalog contains hourly average values of count rates (count/s) of charged particles in interplanetary space and partly in the Earth’s magnetosphere outside radiation belts,     recorded during the flight of the "Prognoz" spacecraft.

19. June 13 - August 19, 1972 (Issue 2, M., 1979)
    This data catalog contains hourly average values of count rates (count/s) of charged particles in interplanetary space and partly in the Earth’s magnetosphere outside radiation belts,     recorded during the flight of the "Prognoz" satellite.

20. August 19 - December 15, 1972 (M., 1980)
    This data catalog contains hourly average values count rates (count/s) of charged particles in interplanetary space and partly in the Earth’s magnetosphere outside radiation belts,     recorded during the flight of the "Prognoz-2" satellite.


21-22 Hourly average count rates of the scintillation-Cherenkov detector in interplanetary space in the periods:

21. October 31, 1978 - June 12, 1979 according to the satellite "Prognoz-7" (M., 1989)
    A brief description of the scintillation-Cherenkov device SEZ-2 on the "Prognoz-7" satellite is given, as well as the hourly average values of the count rates (count/s) for the two energy thresholds of the SEZ-2.

22. December 24, 1980 - September 22, 1981 according to the satellite "Prognoz-8" (M., 1987)
    This collection contains hourly average values of count rates (count/s) for two energy thresholds of the SEZ-2 scintillation-Cherenkov detector installed on board the "Prognoz-8" satellite.


23-24 Solar X-ray bursts recorded on the spacecrafts "Venera-13, 14" in periods:

23. November 1, 1981 - May 31, 1982 (M., 1987)
    A brief description of the SNEG-2M instrument is given, as well as the characteristics of the orbits of the "Venera-13" and "Venera-14" spacecrafts. The table of the exact time To that X-ray bursts began to be recorded with Ex>50 keV includes all bursts recorded during the period. Figures of the time course of these bursts are presented.

24. June 1, 1982 - March 15, 1983 (M., 1987)
